What is the IPIA?

The International Packaged Ice Association (IPIA) has created the quality and safety standard for the packaged ice industry. Following the Packaged Ice Quality Control Standards (PIQCS) is a requirement of membership in the IPIA. Mandatory third-party audits of each member’s manufacturing facility are required to earn and retain IPIA accreditation. The audited categories include:
